Product Description

The design elements in Marie’s paintings are associated with the Yerrampe– Honey Ant Dreaming and Tyape- Witchetty Grub dreaming from her grandfather’s country Alkwepetye which is located 220kms north east of Alice Springs in Central Australia.

Marie illustrates a variety of bush foods that grow and can be found throughout her country including:

Tyankerne– Bush berries, wild figs, sweet edible mistletoe, bush banana

Akatyere- Bush Tomatoe

The background dot work represents the country Alkwepetye.
