The fine linear work throughout Natalie’s painting represents design elements associated with the stories from her ancestral country, Antarrengeny. This is an area approximately 340km NE of Alice Springs in the Utopia region of Central Australia.

These stories include Apeng – the desert kurrajongs and the edible seed – Ngkweyang this hardy desert tree produces.
