Esther’s painting illustrates leaves lying on the ground and moving gently with the breeze.

These leaves are from a variety of native vegetation that grows in Esther’s tradition homelands.  Some are from trees and large shrubs, others from the smaller flowering annuals that flourish after a season of good rain.  Esther explains, “Anyone can see them just lying there on the ground.  Some of them are from the trees and some from little bushes.  Some of them are bush medicine leaves”.
