The design elements throughout Selina’s painting have been inspired by colour and patterns she has observed in the blossoms of the Gum trees throughout Central Australia.  In particular the blossom of the Bloodwood tree, found in abundance throughout her country Antarrengeny, situated in the Utopia Region of Central Australia.
