The pattern throughout Belinda’s painting relates to her main story from her father’s country – ntyerrm (Acacia coriacea), a native tree with greyish green leaves and large black seed pods that have a small bright orange aril.  This tree is considered extremely important as a food source and for the usefulness of its timber.
